We just got confirmation that our Consulate Appointment is on June 7th!!!! Which means we leave in 9 days!!!!!!

Here is our schedule for now....might change a bit...still trying to figure out if we want to do Beijing or not :)

May.27: Family arrive in Beijing
May.28: One day tour to Mu Tian Yu Great Wall
May.29: Visit the Forbidden City and Tian’an Men Square in the morning, lunch. After lunch, Beijing to Nanjing
May.30: Go to the Civil Affairs to meet the child and sign the adoption agreement. Guide will go with the family to the local department store to buy some daily necessities for the child.
May.31: Go to the Civil Affairs for adoption registration, notarization and child’s passport.
Jun.01: Take train from Nanjing to Xuzhou to visit Xuzhou Orphanage and see the finding place, and will take train back to Nanjing on the same day.
Jun.02: Visit the Old City Wall, Xuanwu Lake and presidential palace.
Jun.03: Pick up passport in the afternoon. Nanjing to Guangzhou
Jun.04: Take visa photo for the child first, then do medical for the child.
Jun.05: Visit the Safari park.
Jun.06: Pick up medical report & TB test. Visit the Pearl Market and antique store.
Jun.07: visa appointment at the Consulate and oath-taking ceremony there.
Jun.08: Pick up the visa in the afternoon. leave Guangzhou for Hongkong by train after picking up the visa.
Jun.09: Leave Hong Kong for the United States with DREW!!!!!!!!!
