We are getting ready to go visit the Forbidden City and Tian'an Men Square. From there we board a plane to NANJING!!!! I'm so ready!!!! Can't wait till I get my arms around our little Drew!!!
We have friends that live here in Beijing. Mark talked me into taking the subway....without our guide...to their apartment. That was very interesting. Very nerve racking for me :) The driving and now the subway is really affecting my nerves :) :) They cram as many people as they can on the subway! When you think no one else can fit....they get one more on :) Not good for someone who likes their personal space :)
Getting my stares. Can't decide it they don't like how I dress or my "blonde" hair (which is not blonde but our American friends say it is to them :) But when they stare it is more like a dirty look. but i know it is not...hopefully :)
