Those Left Behind

As we wait "patiently" for Drew's paperwork, I'm reminded of those Left Behind. Those who are still waiting for their forever family. For their Mom and Dad to come and take them home. Like Peng from previous post. I keep trying to figure out how we could be his forever family. Only by a miracle could it happen...but God is a God of miracles :)

Today I read another story of children that will never have their forever family. It breaks my heart that they were left behind. I can't even imagine what it would be like to see child after child around you get "picked" but not you. Remember on the playground when you might have been the last to be picked for a game...you were finally picked but it did not feel so good, did it? There are so many children not just in China but all over the world today waiting for their forever family, their mom & dad to come and get them. Just to have a family. What would that mean to that one child. or today in China a young girl or boy is having a birthday, should be a celebration but instead it is a sad reality that they have "aged out" of being adopted at the age of 14.

Please read these two stories. They will remind each of us the importance to family. How we each take them for granted. What it really means to others to have a FAMILY!
