Almost Done

We are almost done with our Homestudy! We got our 10 hours of adoption education training completed this week. Now just waiting on our references to get in and then we can have our last homestudy meeting! As each piece of the pie gets completed it is becoming more and more real that God has hand picked a little guy in China that will be in our family forever!

Mother's Day was a good day because I'm very thankful and blessed to have 3 sweet little girls that love their Mommy so much. But it was also a bad day in that I got the privilege to work in the nursery during church, miss the girls songs on stage during the service, and Mark had to work :( As I was driving to my mom's house after church with tears in my eyes as I felt sorry for myself I realized how truly BLESSED I am and life will go on even if I did not get to see them sing. I have a wonderful husband and 3 beautiful, healthy girls. God has blessed me with more than I deserve.

Thank you FATHER!

One way my husband is so wonderful...I get to go on a girl's weekend this weekend with my sisters and mom. Some would say well you deserve it (& yes I would agree) or how dare he say no. But for him to say yes to me spend good amount of money (especially when you are trying to do a very expensive adoption, vacation this summer, Kings Island {surprise for Mahala so SHHHHH}, new washing machine, and so many other things) and not complain once that he has the privilege to take care of our girls all by himself this weekend.

Well I think HE is great! Thank you Babe, LOVE YOU!!!!

As the month of May continues, on my heart goes out to the little boy in Vietnam that we were matched with in 2008. I asked the agency about him but without a name they could not look it up for me.
