I did talk with Rachel from FTIA and she shared with me one more piece of information about our son. Most children that find themselves in an orphanage are abandon, however, our son was not. His birth parents for whatever reason (most likely economical) decided to relinquish him to be adopted. That just makes my heart jump knowing that they loved him so much to not just put him somewhere to be found but to go to the orphanage. It is not looked upon highly to relinquish a child so this took big steps for them.
Rachel also said that we are looking at a referral closer to the end of the month. Pray that our referral comes BEFORE August 29th.
At church I heard an awesome phrase and I have made this my quote for now:
God is never rushed but He is never late.
How true is that.
