drew did AWESOME! they started early...around 10:20. the ear doc came back to our waiting around 10:40, tubes went great. they came and told us about 1:15 that they were about ready to take him to recovery. about 1:45, we went to hold drew. he was out of it at first, but started to wake and be very frustrated with how everything is feeling and being hungry. they ket us feed him a bottle. it was hard for him to get use to how the bottle feels in his mouth plus i'm sure all the blood. it is almost 8 pm and we have finished another bottle and don't like our bed. going to be a long night. mark left to be with the girls at home so i'm solo :) praying that we can go home tomorrow, only if he is eating well and dealing with his pain. post pics tomorrow :)

somewhere this week (and it is only tuesday...i think :) i missed a day! i posted on the last blog thinking it was saying that tomorrow (as in weds.) was the big day, so when i read he had surgery, i was like, 'what?'
i am so super happy he came through with flying colors. i know you are probably totally wiped out. and sleep in the hospital is ... well ... not considering sleeping. please please if there is anything tangible i can do, name it. and you seriously better post pictures tomorrow. seriously. i want to see him!
Hope you were able to get some sleep; glad the procedure went well.
