Many Things to Be Thankful for

In our family we have many things that we can see and can not see that we are very thankful for. We have a healthy family (except for the common cold that seems to be part of our family this season), awesome church family, supporting and loving family, great friends, a house over our heads, job that gives us everything we need and more, but most importantly a God that never leaves us nor forsakes us.

Some things that have proven to be blessings has been our adoption. Despite the very difficult past months we do believe that it was for the best that we did not receive our referral. Though it is very hard to accept but some blessings come through hardships and disappointments. Our son will join our family some day and when that day comes blessings will be overflowing in my heart. Right now I am content in what the Lord has given me and enjoy the many blessings rather then focus on the have nots.
Happy Thanksgiving and Enjoy the Season that God has given each of Us.
There is a purpose in everything.
Love, Mark, Suzanne, Mahala, & Olivia

what a sweet expression of your trust in the lord in the good times as well as the disappointing ones.
