What a week of blessings! I was so blessed to see so many of you join with us in calling our government officials. My sister-in-law, Jessica, got to talk with Andre Carson himself. Others sent encouraging emails letting us know that you are doing whatever you can. Such a blessing. I received a letter from Senator Lugar. Encouraging to know that they are listening and taking action.

Mark and I celebrated 9 years of marriage on June 5th. We have been together 13 years this past May. How great is that!!! The girls got to go to their 1st Indian's Baseball game. Aunt Jess and (soon to be, Uncle) Adam braved it and took the girls :) They had a great time. A little hot!

Also on June 5th we found out that our Dossier is done being translated and now in the hands of IAD. YEAH!!!!!!!! It will stay there until we receive our referral (still hoping for this fall/winter). We also found out that we are #6 on the boy list to be "matched" and #18 for referral. Being "matched" means that FTIA has identified a little boy for us and now has started the paperwork to get an official referral. FTIA is busy with matching families. It truly is an exciting time for FTIA Vietnam Families.
Here is what went on this week at FTIA:

****Two families depart this past week for Vietnam in order to complete the adoptions of their precious baby girls.

****Five families received referrals this week; two families received referrals of infant girls and three families received referrals of infant boys.
****Initially matched six boys and four girls this week. These referrals are expected in the next 6 – 8 weeks.

****Thirteen dossiers were submitted to the IAD this week with more to follow next week. This is US!!

Continue to pray for the government of Vietnam and that adoptions will continue past Sept 1.
Also keep our little guy in your prayers.

Love to all and Thank You again for all your support this past week. Great Job!!!!!!

I love reading your blog and seeing the pictures of your precious family! It is so beautiful to see your love and commitment to the son you don't even know yet. We are thankful to be a part of the journey with you from a distance. We contacted our senators, though I didn't get any kind of response. And we're praying!!!!!!!
